About the role

We are looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with optometrists and patients to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and schedule appointments
• Perform preliminary vision tests and gather patient histories
• Assist with frame selection, fitting, and adjustments
• Instruct patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
• Maintain optical equipment and exam rooms
• Manage patient records and billing documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in an optical or healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of basic eye anatomy and common vision conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
