Professional Lines Claims Executive

Responsibilities

• Handle litigated and non-litigated professional claims including legal and medical malpractice from inception to closure.
• Mitigate losses, address and resolve coverage issues, and provide guidance and advice to clients and insureds.
• Proactively manage claims, prepare thorough reports, and provide valuable client information and intelligence to underwriters.
• Maintain adjuster licenses, stay current with continuing education, and attend industry-related educational programs.
• Attend settlement conferences, mediations, ADR, and trials as needed.
• Travel as necessary and as required by the Company.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years insurance technical claim handling experience.
• Undergraduate college degree.
• Excellence in verbal and written communications, time management, claims judgment, business acumen, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
• Industry designations/course work a plus.
