Responsibilities
- Perform and provide control, boundary, topographic, utility, ALTA, Right-of-Way, hydrographic, and construction surveying services.
- Search courthouse records, in-house survey records, road records, and other records relevant to the survey being performed.
- Prepare topographic / utility survey drawings.
- Review, sign, and seal plats and other documents for recording and write legal descriptions.
- Operate survey-related equipment and software.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Aid in the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and invoices.
- Cookordination with office staff members, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Assist, train, direct, and supervise field crew and office staff members.
- Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain survey equipment.
Qualifications
- Must have Professional Land Surveyor license in Missouri and / or Illinois.
- A minimum of two years of survey experience since obtaining licensure is a plus, but not required.
- Good knowledge of Trimble robotic total station and GPS equipment.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Organizing, prioritizing, and performing work assignments with minimal supervision.
Pay
Salary Range: $30-$48 Salaries may vary based on experience and qualifications.
