Responsibilities

  • Manage and conduct a wide variety of land surveys including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, and construction staking.
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure plans, blueprints, and other project documents are accurate and complete.
  • Utilize CAD drafting, AutoCAD 3D, and other relevant software to prepare high-quality survey drawings.
  • Cook up with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and practices.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professional Land Surveyor.
  • Must hold a current Professional Land Surveyor license.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD drafting, AutoCAD 3D, and other relevant software.
  • Extensive knowledge of land development and site development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Willing to travel to project sites as required.
