Professional Geologist Project Manager

About the role

A professional geologist project manager is needed to lead geological projects in Hagerstown, MD. The ideal candidate will manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans that meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure project success.
• Manage team of geologists and technicians to achieve project goals.
• Ensure all work complies with environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and present project reports to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Geological knowledge and understanding of project management principles.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Experience with GIS software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
