Professional Engineer (Civil/Structural)

About the role
Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Professional Engineer with an emphasis in Civil/Structural Engineering. This position will involve performing engineering designs in support of estimates, submittal packages, and production of precast products. The role is hybrid, based at either our Auburn, WA or Wilsonville, OR facility.
Responsibilities
- Work with Leadership and CAD Operators in support of sales and production
- Support installation of engineered products in assigned region
- Work on various engineering projects in support of sales as well as continuous improvements in manufacturing, process, shipping, handling, and installation
- Prepare calculations and drawings for precast products
- Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure precast products are manufactured in accordance with Oldcastle's Quality Control Program
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer, or able to obtain within 6 months
- Previous experience in concrete design or precast design (preferred) – other structural disciplines acceptable
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and perform structural concrete designs
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products, MathCAD, and SAP2000
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Ability to interact with customers, managers, engineers, drafters, and other employees to resolve engineering and management-related issues
Pay
Base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 per year with a 10% annual bonus opportunity.
