Professional Development Intern
About the role
The Professional Development intern at CGRC's Professional Development Center will gain hands-on experience in developing training materials, marketing to prospective audiences, evaluating program effectiveness, and assisting with both in-person and virtual learning experiences for clinicians and educators.
Responsibilities
- Observe and assist with facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions led by experienced educators.
- Create marketing materials and expand target audiences.
- Participate in program evaluation and data collection.
- Develop and maintain training materials (i.e. PowerPoint presentations, handouts, resources, etc.).
- Learn how and when to apply various instructional design strategies.
- Explore different training formats such as classroom-based, virtual, and e-learning courses.
Qualifications
This is an unpaid internship. Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in psychology, education, public health, or a related field.
