RemoteRemoteOTHRFull-time

This position is a fully remote opportunity based in the United States, combining customer service, client education, consultative sales, and professional development.

About the role

You will work directly with individuals and families who have requested information about insurance and benefits. The role emphasizes listening, education, relationship building, and needs-based guidance rather than high-pressure sales. No previous insurance experience is required; training, licensing support, coaching, and mentorship are provided. You will develop communication, presentation, problem-solving, and business skills while working toward greater responsibility. Performance, consistency, initiative, and leadership development can create opportunities for advancement into mentoring and management.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients through scheduled phone and video appointments to understand their needs, priorities, and benefit requirements.
  • Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health benefit options clearly and professionally, helping clients make informed decisions.
  • Guide eligible clients through applications and enrollment while maintaining a high standard of customer service and follow-up.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships through active listening, responsive communication, and personalized client support.
  • Assist with ongoing service needs, including policy reviews, beneficiary updates, and other client requests.
  • Participate in structured onboarding, weekly coaching, professional development sessions, and mentorship programs.
  • Develop communication, presentation, problem-solving, goal-setting, and performance-management capabilities.
  • Learn team-building and leadership fundamentals while preparing for potential future mentoring, training, and management responsibilities.
  • Maintain consistent performance, organization, accountability, and professionalism while working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Progress toward greater responsibility based on performance, initiative, consistency, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Requirements

  • No prior insurance experience is required; comprehensive training and licensing guidance are provided.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and physically located in the United States.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain the required state Life & Health Insurance License.
  • Strong communication and active-listening skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and build rapport with clients.
  • Customer-focused, personable, and comfortable working directly with individuals and families.
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback, with a genuine interest in continuous personal and professional development.
  • Self-disciplined, organized, accountable, and capable of managing priorities and appointments independently.
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by performance-based achievement and career growth.
  • Comfortable working remotely and communicating through Zoom and other virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Reliable computer or laptop with webcam and microphone, high-speed internet, and a quiet, professional workspace.
  • Transferable experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, administration, banking, client relations, call centers, sales, management, or military service can be valuable but is not mandatory.

Benefits

  • 100% remote work arrangement within the United States.
  • Full-time position with flexible scheduling.
  • Commission-based weekly pay with performance bonuses rather than an hourly or fixed-salary structure.
  • Uncapped performance-based earning opportunities, with earnings varying according to individual production and performance.
  • Potential renewal and residual income, as well as leadership compensation opportunities.
  • Access to qualified leads (individuals who have requested benefit information, with no traditional cold calling required).
  • Comprehensive virtual onboarding, product and benefits education, customer service training, and consultative sales development.
  • Guidance and support toward obtaining the required Life & Health Insurance License.
  • One-on-one mentorship, weekly coaching, and ongoing professional development.
  • Leadership development training in communication, team building, goal setting, performance management, and leadership.
  • Potential career progression from Professional Development Associate to senior representative, mentor/trainer, team leader, and management roles.
  • Additional programs for qualifying representatives, including medical reimbursement programs, company-supported life insurance, accidental death benefits, professional conferences, recognition programs, and incentive travel opportunities.
