Description
- Generates, reviews, and interprets reports and dashboards related to coding activities, including volume, turnaround time, denials, and subdivision trends, to identify areas for improvement.
- Performs coding audits and provides feedback, clarification, and education to support coder accuracy and consistency.
- Utilizes Epic Systems and Solventum systems to meet monthly charge and quantity expectations.
- Supports the coordination of coding education needs for coders and providers, ensuring questions and training needs are addressed.
- Processes and submits code corrections and resubmissions in alignment with established workflows and guidelines.
- Collaborates with the PSO Professional Coding Manager on activities that promote coding accuracy, productivity, and compliance, without serving in a supervisory capacity.
- Assists the Director by contributing to the development, review, and recommendation of coding-related policies and procedures.
- Participates in hiring and onboarding processes by providing subject-matter expertise and operational support as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
