Professional Caregiver (Private Duty Home Care)

About the role

This position is for a caregiver position with Happier at Home, which provides services to the couple at 123 Main Street, Leeds, AL.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility support).
• Meaningful companionship and engagement.
• Meal preparation and nutritional support.
• Light housekeeping directly related to client care.
• Transportation to appointments or errands (as needed).
• Accurate documentation and proactive communication with the care team.
• Observing and reporting changes in condition.

Requirements

• 18+ with high school diploma/GED or relevant experience.
• Prior caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP, or senior care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to this address.
• Valid Driver's License and Insurance are a must.
• Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and care notes.
• Ability to assist with mobility and remain active during shifts.
• Clear background screening.

Pay

$20/hr.

Schedule

Consistent part-time hours 2 to 4 hours in the morning and 2 to 4 hours in the evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
