Position Summary
Profee Coder, Cardiology Must Have Experience With Surgical Procedures
POSITION DUTIES
- Maintain current and high-quality ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and/or CPT coding for the Inpatient and or/ Outpatient diagnoses and procedural occurrences.
- Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to ensure consistent coding accuracy rate of 95% or better.
- Abstract data into electronic medical record systems, verifying accurate patient dispositions and physician data.
- Follow Official ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Guidelines for Coding and Reporting and AMA CPT Guidelines.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience
- Available full time
- Candidate must reside in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia or New Mexico to be considered
- Candidate must have a laptop and two monitors
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty coder certs preferred
