Around the Role

Join us in developing and producing high-quality and innovative security systems for doors, windows, and gates. As a market leader in the façade lock industry, we are seeking a Product Manager specializing in electromechanical locking systems.

Responsibilities

• Membership in our product management team and responsibility for the management and development of our portfolio of electronic locks, peripheral components, access control solutions, and smart home solutions.
• Briefing and advising on market requirements and trends, and forming the interface between supplier, development, and sales.
• Monitoring the introduction and exit of products within your responsibility scope, including data preparation.
• Creating market, potential, and competition analyses, customer benefit arguments, business plans, and load sheets.
• Leading projects in coordination with cross-functional departments.
• Supporting the Marketing department with content preparation for sales materials.
• Conducting internal and external training sessions and creating training materials.
• Assuming support tasks for your product area when needed.

Requirements

• Completed technical or commercial education or higher qualification, preferably with an electrical engineering background.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in product management, technical marketing, or technical sales, particularly in the field of locks or electronic access solutions.
• A strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for new technologies.
• A direct contact to the market and customers, considering both the technical and commercial aspects.
• A methodical approach to work and experience in project management.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
• Teamwork, flexibility, and resilience.
• Occasional travel is part of the job.
• Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken).
• Focusing on customer benefits and satisfaction in your work and seeing yourself as the entrepreneur for your product area.
