Products Liability Paralegal

About the role

The paralegal will perform a wide variety of tasks which includes providing a high level of customer service and support, while consistently producing an excellent work product. The paralegal maintains general knowledge of the Litigation practice groups and a specialized knowledge of the assigned attorneys’ practice area(s) and clients in order to ensure extraordinary client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service and support
• Produce excellent work product
• Maintain knowledge of Litigation practice groups and assigned attorneys’ practice areas
• Schedule tasks and manage trial preparations
• Track and record billable hours
• Utilize legal software (e.g., Xera, Relativity)

Requirements

• Three to five years of substantive experience in defense products liability
• Previous trial experience
• Knowledge of Federal and State court rules
• Experience tracking and recording billable hours
• Experience with legal software (e.g., Xera, Relativity) desired
• Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
