Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Bolt, clip, and screw parts together
- Loads raw material and unloads finished product
- Identifies quality defects and raw material flaws
- Placed parts in specified relationship to each other
- Tends machines such as presses and cutting machines
- Reads and follows Powder Coating Processes
- Powders coats parts by color needed for model
- Fulfills schedule and hands parts needed for Powder Coating
- Placed parts in specified relationship to each other
- Works at different workstations as production needs require
- Packages all shed parts that are necessary for each box
- Follows all run conditions while packaging product
- Works in different assigned zones as needed
- Cross trains in different areas within the sheds department
Qualifications
- Must be a current temporary employee working at Lifetime Products through a staffing agency
- No prior experience or training is needed
- Less than a high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual in English
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Overtime flexibility during peak seasons
