Production Worker, Hourly

Responsibilities
- Participates in continuous improvement events and 5S activities.
- Actively engages in shift relief (Tier 1 meeting).
- Observes data from controllers and recorders to make process changes and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.
- Redirects or shuts off feeder lines during emergencies and alerts supervisor of actions taken.
- Participates on process improvement teams.
- Conducts scheduled routine inspections of operating areas to observe conditions and reports irregularities.
- Creates work notifications for equipment needing repair.
- Collects and records operating data, runs routine control checks, and makes operational changes as needed.
- Adjusts processes to meet operational requirements and performs minor equipment repairs.
- Follows standard practices and procedures for plant operations.
- Reviews and modifies operating procedures annually.
- Serves as a required member of the emergency brigade.
- Provides OJT certification and training for new operators as required.
- Performs housekeeping duties in the assigned area.
- Handles hazardous waste sampling, packaging, loading, container marking, labeling, and management.
- Responds to chemical spills and releases and conducts routine inspections.
Qualifications
You Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Valid driver’s license.
- TWIC Card eligible.

Pay
The annual base pay range for this position is $38.00 per hour. This serves as a general guideline; actual offers consider factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, training, skills, and market/business considerations.
