About the Role

Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast‑moving, consistent manner. FLSA status: Non‑exempt.

Responsibilities

• Perform all manual labor in the assigned area.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
