Production Worker

About the role

We are looking for an employee to join our first-shift production team at our Oswego, IL facility. This person will work in various production departments by following work instructions to meet production goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Check work instructions to ensure accurate settings for the job.
• Identify and locate proper material thickness and gauge.
• Run production as instructed on a variety of machinery and equipment.
• Visually inspect parts to ensure they are within defined specifications to meet quality standards before moving to the next station.
• Check product against plan using assigned gaging.
• Participate in activities to increase personal skill level, overall departmental processes, and product quality.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Communicate all problems and other work-related issues with Supervisor or Lead.
• Receive, understand, and follow all written and oral instructions.
• Maintain a meet-or-exceed rating on performance evaluations.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and attendance requirements.
• Resolve day-to-day issues by working effectively with others.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to use hands for the entire shift.
• Proven work history and a good attendance record.

Pay

$19.00 - $22.25 per hour (shift differential for 2nd shift).

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
