Production Worker

Multiple immediate production needs in Vacaville, CA. Temporary role with potential for temp-to-hire for the right candidate.

About the role

Join a production team in a food manufacturing environment. As a Production Heavy Lifter, you will handle, pack, and sort product while adhering to safety and food safety guidelines. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced, physical work.

Responsibilities

• Regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds throughout your shift
• Sort, pack, and weigh products as directed by department lead or supervisor
• Follow all facility safety and food safety guidelines
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently
• Keep your work area clean and organized using common cleaning tools

Requirements

• Physically able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Skills

• Experience with quality inspections and identifying product issues (preferred)
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) (preferred)
• Understanding and consistent adherence to food safety policies (preferred)

Schedule

Swing Shift: 1:30pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime and some weekends required.

Pay

$17.40 per hour.
