Production Worker

About the role

The Production Worker will manufacture transformers, coils, and inductors according to Customer specifications and Standex Electronics EDGE standards.

Responsibilities

• Wind wire with the appropriate number of turns according to customer specifications
• Apply flux to solder points as per manufacturing instructions
• Solder pins/leads in solder pot per Renco manufacturing procedures by dipping/dragging the pins into the solder pots
• Assemble transformer according to manufacturing instructions
• Test transformer for conformance
• Follows policies and procedures utilized by the Company and Department to ensure the efficient running of the department and customer satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Two years' assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and those related to the position
• Ability to speak fluently with customers, managers, and fellow employees
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions when furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
• Willing/able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
