Production Worker

While reporting to the production supervisor, you will be responsible for working safely, attention to quality, supporting the machine operators by packaging product, driving fork truck, recycling cores and paper scrap, and training for and filling in for machine operators. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently assist machine tenders or others with the physical requirements of the assigned operations
• Operate small hand-type or less complicated equipment
• Remove tubes from overhead dryer chain conveyor
• Load tubes on trucks and label them properly
• Place scrap on carts to be hauled away
• Inspect and pack tubes
• Perform other essential duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be reliable, have good initiative, and be committed to working safely and quality-focused
• Previous forklift experience is beneficial
• Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Perform repetitive duties, including standing for long periods of time
• Work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Must be willing to work overtime if needed

Pay

$26.02/hr

Schedule

Day shift, Monday – Friday (8 – 10 hours per day, shift times TBD)
