Production Worker

Production Worker / Caulk Line Packer position located in Beavercreek, OH. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will pack fiber caulk tubes in boxes quickly and safely at Sonoco’s Fiber Caulk Tube plant.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams.
• Think on your feet to troubleshoot problems and situations.
• Make incremental process adjustments and monitor/report product quality.
• Consistently load caulk tubes into boxes.
• Clear jams and contribute to operational improvements using critical‑thinking skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform all duties as designated by supervisor/manager and in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Work for short periods on elevated platforms.

Requirements

• Excellent attendance.
• Proven success in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work with various teams and spot defects on the packing line.
• Strong hands‑on and analytical abilities.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay

$21.00 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Schedule

2nd shift: 3 pm – 11 pm
3rd shift: 11 pm – 7 am
