Production Worker

About the Role

PRIDE Industries is a fast-paced company with a mission to create jobs for people with disabilities while providing high-quality, value-added solutions to our nationwide customers. We are currently recruiting for a Production Worker to join our team in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Co-pack and assemble parts.
• Ensure production requirements and standards are met consistently.
• Increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
• Complete packaging tasks such as product, box assembly, packing, and taping.
• Operate equipment correctly and maintain it with care (e.g., ink jet, pallet jack, conveyor belt, case sealer).
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions.
• Attend all safety and production trainings.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior production/packing related work experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical ability.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests.
• Human relations skills to build effective working relationships.
• Demonstrated customer service, problem-solving, and common-sense skills.

Physical Requirements

• Maneuvering in and around equipment.
• Bending and stooping.
• Pushing carts up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Using a pallet jack.
• Lifting boxes or equipment up to 40 pounds.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with forklifts and production equipment. Employees may be exposed to noise, elevated temperatures, high heat, occasional fumes, toxic chemicals, and airborne particles.

Pay

$17.50 per hour
