Production Worker

Location: Huntington, IN
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30a-3:00p (30 hrs./wk)
Starting Pay: $8.49/hr

About The Role

As a Production Worker at Pathfinder, you'll play an important role in Commercial Operations by helping create quality products through kitting, sub-assembly, packaging, and other production activities. Your work supports the success and growth of Outsource Manufacturing while contributing to Pathfinder's mission.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete assigned production tasks.
• Perform kitting, sub-assembly, and other production functions.
• Operate production equipment and machinery, including equipment such as rivet machines, skin packers, and die cutters.
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Work toward established production deadlines and quotas.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Box and package completed products according to production requirements.
• Ensure finished goods are prepared accurately and efficiently for customers.
• Follow established safety practices and procedures.
• Maintain accuracy and quality while completing production assignments.
• Use good judgment when performing assigned duties.
• Adapt to changing production needs, activities, locations, and customer requirements.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers to achieve department and organizational goals.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and assigned committees as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of time worked.

Requirements

• Related work experiences along with an excellent work record.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card required.
• Basic language, written, and computer skills necessary for communication and documentation.
• Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
• Dependable and committed to maintaining assigned work hours.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines and quotas.
• Ability to follow safety practices and procedures.
