Production Worker
About the role
Can operate any machine or perform any job in the department efficiently and accurately.
Has good understanding of the product and how it goes together.
Can check his/her own and the work of others from prints if required.
Removes dies and makes set-ups.
Responsible for quality of operation and dimensional accuracy of his/her own work.
Must have the physical ability to handle parts, materials, tools and carts as required.
Requires general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Machine Operator: Safely and efficiently operates a variety of machinery and equipment used in the production or manufacturing process. Sets up machines, monitors operations, performs routine maintenance, and ensures products meet quality standards.
- Hang/Hook: Hangs parts from pallets onto the paint line by grasping parts with one or two hands and hanging onto hooks. Places hooks on the line, the weight of the hooks is nominal. Rotates between Hanger and Hook Setter roles every hour.
- Paintline Attendant: Tends the paint-line where products advance down a motorized hanging conveyor system. May rotate into roles such as Box Thrower, Take Off, Taper, Bander, and Box Puller.
- Box Puller: Researches, calculates, and pulls from inventory all boxes, packaging materials, and pallets (4x2 and 7ft) needed to ship products. Manages and transports boxes, assists in receiving department, may drive forklift, and performs "Take Off" job function.
- Sign Off: Ensures accurate labeling and staging of palletized products. Pushes/pulls palletized orders into the automated plastic wrap area, uses a computer and printer to make labels, and may perform "Take Off" job.

- 2nd shift: $23.78
- 3rd shift: $23.98
- $1,000 bonus after completion of 90 days of employment (subject to taxes), applicable to new hires only.
