Production Worker

About the role

The Production Worker – Gilroy Box position is responsible for the day-to-day safe operations within the facility, assisting with plant management, feeding and stacking at various machines, and performing hand labor and housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist as assigned through the facility (feeding and stacking at various machines, and assist with hand labor and housekeeping).
• Understand basic principles of corrugated (flutes, corrugation direction, and various substrates).
• Aid in set-ups and production on machine.
• Ensure the quality of the finished product produced at each machine center is carried out in the most efficient manner with company quality and production requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to detect, prevent and resolve quality issues.
• Read a tape measure, read and understand job specifications and follow directions.
• Capable of performing basic math and communication skills.
• Be able to stand, walk, reach, twist, bend and lift using safety precautions to prevent injury.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to work all three shifts, work 12 hours as needed, and Saturdays as needed.
