Production Worker

About the role

LJ Design & Manufacturing, a division of Laacke & Joys, is a manufacturer of high-quality custom sewn products for industrial and medical applications. Due to tremendous growth, we are seeking a Production Handworker to join our inclusive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic handwork such as cutting, trimming, gluing, fastening, or material preparation
• Assist with assembly or finishing of products
• Handle and move materials or components as needed
• Inspect work for basic quality and report defects or issues
• Follow standardized work instructions and supervisor direction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools
• Support production team with general tasks to maintain workflow

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred but not required
• Ability to use basic hand tools and follow instructions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand work instructions

Schedule

• 1st shift
• Monday – Friday
• 7:00AM – 3:30PM

$17.50 per hour
