About the role
Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to join their team in Hamilton, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
- Keeps area neat and clean.
- Reads and uses a tape measure.
- Reads blueprints and orders materials.
- Communicates well with coworkers.
- Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
Qualifications
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
