Production Worker

About the role

Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. This is a non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Perform all manual labor in the assigned area
• Keep area neat and clean
• Read and use a tape measure
• Read blueprints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing desired

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequently required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
