Production Worker

About the role

Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring Production Workers (General Laborers) in Perrysburg Township, OH. As a Production Worker, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in all aspects of manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and is comfortable using hand and power tools, including screw guns and drills. You will accurately follow work instructions and customer specifications, work well independently and as part of a team, maintain a strong focus on safety, and perform a variety of production and assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble racks as needed for rework projects.
• Install dunnage materials, including foam, rubber, and plastic, into finished racks to meet customer specifications.
• Use a screw gun/drill to securely attach foam and plastic components with self-tapping screws.
• Stencil required labels, markings, and verbiage onto painted and powder-coated racks.
• Hang parts on carts in preparation for the powder coating process.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required.
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Schedule

Available shift: 1st shift, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday. Overtime possible on Friday.
