Production Welder 2nd Shift

About the role

The Production Welder will weld a variety of metal components and finish parts to print. The work is 50% MIG and 50% TIG. The welder will work with a variety of materials to include: Light gauge steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Weld a variety of metal components and finish parts to print.
• Work with a variety of materials including light gauge steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
• Understand and follow welding and assembly prints.
• Work with minimal supervision around other welders in a production ISO environment.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving metal up to 50 pounds, standing, reaching, and frequent bending.

Requirements

• 3-5 years prior experience in welding.
• Familiarity with the safe use of basic hand and power tools, such as grinders and deburring equipment.
• Experience using hoists and pallett jacks.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Welding skills (MIG and TIG).
• Understanding of welding and assembly prints.
• Physical strength to move up to 50 pounds.
