About the Role

The Warehouse Attendant position is available at Neapco's Beatrice, Nebraska and Greer, South Carolina locations. This role requires a strong alignment with Neapco's Core Values of Partnership, Passion, Agility, Teamwork, Integrity, and Diversity, as well as Neapco's Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and oral work instructions to determine materials to be moved and location to which they are to be moved.
• Load, unload and move materials, supplies and products within the plant, yard or warehouse.
• Ship finished products.
• Pick parts for internal and external orders.
• Pack parts for internal and external orders.
• Transport loads using various moving devices.
• Weigh materials and record information.
• Maintain proper operating distance between equipment and fixed objects, such as racks and machines while operating fork trucks.
• Maintain proper operating speeds while in plant and warehouse while operating fork trucks.
• Maintain area in a safe and clean environment.
• Rotate tasks within the work group.
• Work extra hours to maintain production needs if necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Position requires the ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions, to work accurately with numerical records, and to schedule time effectively.
• Requires effective interaction with company personnel, including supervisors and managers, as well as outside transportation firms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalency preferred.
• Vocational training helpful.

Skills

• Ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work accurately with numerical records.
• Ability to schedule time effectively.
• Effective interaction with company personnel, including supervisors and managers, as well as outside transportation firms.
