About the role
As a Production Warehouse Associate, you'll play a critical role in both warehouse operations and conveyor belt fabrication—working in the shop and occasionally at customer sites. You'll be involved in hands-on production, shipping, receiving, and installation work that directly supports our customers.
Responsibilities
- Building, repairing, and fabricating conveyor belts and components
- Installing and vulcanizing lightweight conveyor belting
- Receiving, verifying, and organizing materials and parts
- Picking, packing, shipping, and recording outgoing orders accurately
- Working with freight carriers and couriers
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Using tools and equipment safely while following all PPE and safety requirements
- Representing Belt Power professionally at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read measurements accurately using a tape measure
- Basic math and computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in tight or elevated spaces
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Maintenance, production, or belt technician experience
Work environment
Full-time, shop-based role. Active environment with moving machinery and a moderate-to-loud noise level.
Physical requirements
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active: standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the day; using hands, arms, shoulders, and tools for fabrication and installation work.
