This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Underwrites new and renewal property and casualty business according to company standards
- Evaluates risks and determines acceptance or modification of coverage
- Sets coverage limits, premiums, policy terms, and conditions based on thorough risk assessments
- Delivers exceptional service for clients during both new business acquisition and renewals
- Identifies exposures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and underwriting protocols
- Produces premium forecasts and business plans aligned with performance objectives
- Maintains broker relationships and collaborates with teams for effective account management
- Creates avenues for new business and ensures retention of the existing portfolio
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting
- Must possess state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is preferred
Pay
$96,000 – $120,000 annually
