About the role
The Production Tooling Mechanic supports the Membrane Solutions organization by ensuring all production tooling is maintained in a ready state. This includes spinning tooling (winders and jets) maintenance and calibration, as well as assembly tooling such as potting molds.
Responsibilities
- Sustain a preventative maintenance tooling program and drive reliability excellence.
- Aid in process improvements for tool design and reliability.
- Develop quick-change options for changeovers.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve process conditions and problems to improve production or workflow.
- Develop, implement, and maintain overall tooling management organization.
- Implement tool recycle and maintenance processes.
- Attend engineering and management meetings, providing input and guidance.
- Dismantle equipment to remove and repair defective parts.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- 2-5 years of practical industrial manufacturing experience or technical/associate degree, certificate, or equivalent in a related field (preferred).
- Comfortable analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data and trends.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and have a good driving record.
Qualifications
- Night and day shifts are available.
- Nights are 6:00pm to 6:00am.
- Days are 6:00am to 6:00pm.
- Pay range: $28.79 - $32.70 per hour based on work experience.
- Availability to work a 2-3-2, 12-hour rotating shift (36 / 48-hour work weeks).

- Rotating 12-hour shift (2-3-2 schedule).
