Production Technician, Swing Shift - Waltham, MA

About the role

The Production Technician (PT) position is available at Dentsply Sirona's Waltham, MA site. This role involves producing Atlantis abutments and related products using manual and semi-automated processes, adhering to FDA regulations and ISO & Quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products using detailed instructions in full compliance with all FDA regulations and ISO & Quality requirements, in conjunction with all internal policies.
• Interpret customer requirements and document/communicate findings as needed.
• Process customer material and internally produced products in compliance with established quality standards and instructions.
• Interact extensively with production software for all aspects of record-keeping, job assignments and material information.
• Participate in Lean process improvement activities including idea generation, root-cause analysis and solution implementation.
• Maintain the work-center in accordance with established 5S principles.
• Develop skills and knowledge required of position through training.
• Proactively seek additional tasks as conditions warrant.
• Comply by all standard SOP and Safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Two (2) or more years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work with a minimum of supervision.
• Able to perform accurate measurements, in some cases using a microscope.
• Computer literate. Able to use standard computer applications and interact with a computer for data entry and other reasons.
• Read, write and speak in fluent English.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Must have a high level of professionalism.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs (15 percent of the time).
• Able to work unscheduled overtime required, at times.
