About the role
Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is an international company that collects and fractionates blood plasma to produce and distribute plasma-derived therapeutic products for use in treating and preventing serious diseases, disorders and conditions such as Hemophilia, Primary Immune System Deficiencies and Rh-Sensitization.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be part of the team responsible for the compliant execution of manufacturing processes in a cleanroom environment, strictly following cGMP standards, safety guidelines, and all applicable regulations. You'll gain experience with both manual tasks and advanced automated equipment in the production area.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on execution of manual and automated manufacturing operations. Equipment includes centrifuges, processing tanks set-up and operations, ultrafiltration systems, COP cabinets, CIP stations, and equipment assembly.
- Material handling includes requesting, weighing and addition of chemicals, and suspending solid paste.
- Assisting with unloading/loading and palletizing product.
- Operate a (type) forklift or hand truck, upon training and certification.
- Transport product from/to production/warehouse/cold storage.
- Correct and safe operation of equipment, chemicals, and products.
- Ensure the production area is in the highest state of readiness.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams and implement continuous improvement tools.
- Follow safety/EHS requirements, SOPs, cGMP, work rules and other company policies.
- Perform removal of hazardous waste.
- Perform production area and associated equipment recovery activities such as cleaning rooms, tanks, skids, miscellaneous equipment, etc.
- Ensure all production materials and PPE are present as required.
- Responsible for ensuring that the work area is maintained in a clean and orderly manner in accordance with cGMP and internal requirements.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
- Must be flexible, able to work extended hours (overtime), and alongside multiple departments.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player and builder.
- Self-motivator.
- Good math skills and ability to perform calculations per batch record.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and e-mail a plus.
- Sufficient technical competence to organize and lead production activities.
- Problem solving skills and results oriented.
- Adaptable to change.
- Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire. This position does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
