Production Technician Job

The estimated base salary range for this role is $22.50 to $26.47 per hour. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective setup and operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Know how and where to find process specifications and procedures and adhere to them.
• Demonstrate and insist upon accuracy in all reporting, including product quality, mobile equipment operation, product inspection, product packaging, and scrap material reclamation.
• Maintain a skill level and knowledge of equipment operation and product quality to assist in setting up all aspects of the operation during startups and changeovers.
• Maintain housekeeping at a level of excellence in work areas.
• Recognize product quality and help diagnose problems.
• Follow all safety rules and ensure all employees associated with the operation do the same.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required or requested.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pre-screen interview.
• Submit to a skill level evaluation.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends.
• Ability to communicate and effectively work with others.
