About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
- Install, test, and repair electrical components and systems
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of related experience in electrical work
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Qualifications
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Electrical installation and repair
- Wiring and cable management
- Use of diagnostic tools and equipment
