- Earn up to $50,000 a year ($24/hour) after just 1 year
- Advance to $63,000 a year ($30+/hour) within 18 months as a Manufacturing Technician II
This overnight role (6:00 pm - 6:00 am) provides hands-on experience, builds technical skills, and follows a structured training plan to support your development.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on execution of manual and automated manufacturing operations, including equipment such as centrifuges, processing tanks, ultrafiltration systems, COP cabinets, CIP stations, and equipment assembly
- Handle materials, including requesting, weighing, and addition of chemicals, and suspending solid paste
- Assist with unloading/loading and palletizing product
- Operate a forklift or hand truck upon training and certification
- Transport product from/to production/warehouse/cold storage
- Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment, chemicals, and products
- Maintain the production area in the highest state of readiness
- Participate in continuous improvement teams and implement continuous improvement tools
- Follow safety/EHS requirements, SOPs, cGMP, work rules, and other company policies
- Perform removal of hazardous waste
- Conduct production area and associated equipment recovery activities, such as cleaning rooms, tanks, skids, and miscellaneous equipment
- Ensure all production materials and PPE are present as required
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly manner in accordance with cGMP and internal requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Flexibility to work extended hours (overtime) and collaborate with multiple departments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player and builder
- Self-motivated
- Good math skills and ability to perform calculations per batch record
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and email (a plus)
- Sufficient technical competence to organize and lead production activities
- Problem-solving skills and results-oriented mindset
- Adaptable to change

Pay
- Starting pay: $24/hour (~$50,000/year)
- After 18 months: $30+/hour (~$63,000/year) as a Manufacturing Technician II
Schedule
Overnight shift: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
