Production Technician I

Responsibilities

• Preparation, mixing and packaging of liquid saturation systems
• Sanding, press, finishing and band saw operations
• Set up and operation of production equipment within assigned work cell
• Achieve productivity and quality expectations within their work cell
• In process quality control of products using measuring devices
• Conduct basic electrical testing with little to no supervision
• Maintain electronic and written production records to maintain production order tracking, material traceability and consumption
• Accurately and timely complete cycle counts
• Proactively participate in FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control and prevention

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to quality
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow written direction
• Ability to stand 8 hrs. per day
• Manual dexterity
• Legible handwriting as well as good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to read basic measurements devices and perform mathematical equations
• Must be able to identify defects within the coating process, raw materials and final product
• Must be able to work efficiently independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Status as a U.S. citizen due to U.S. government contract regulations

Pay Range: $22.50-$25.75 per hour

Hours are 7:00am - 3:30PM Monday - Friday
