Production Technician I
About the role
The Production Technician I will work in a laboratory setting performing tasks such as filling and labeling component containers, packaging filled containers into final kits, plate coating operations, and buffer preparation. This role requires adherence to good laboratory practices to produce high-quality materials for downstream customers and may involve overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to good laboratory practices to produce high-quality materials for downstream customers.
- Perform tasks such as filling and labeling component containers, packaging filled containers into final kits, plate coating operations, and buffer preparation.
- Train to use manufacturing equipment, cross-train in other departments, and create job packets for each product using Excel, Word, SAP ERP, and other documentation systems.
- Work independently and as part of a team to handle a variety of tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience with a preference for a chemistry background.
- Desired: Degree in a chemistry-related field.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic written or oral instructions.
- Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Experience operating production machinery, preferred.
- Utilize basic technical skills to troubleshoot equipment.
- Attention to detail.
- Desire to learn and grow.
Qualifications
Manufacturing experience would be valuable in this role. Strong attention to detail is important for minimizing defects. Knowledge of cGMP procedures would allow for an immediate impact. The ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues is also essential. Being a strong team player within the department and across other departments is important.

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this position is $20.19 to $27.79 hourly, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
Schedule
This position must be based in Woodinville, Washington and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.
