Production Technician

About the role

As a Production Technician, your responsibilities will include building and assembling custom products using a variety of materials and techniques. You will operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently. You will measure, cut, drill, and fit components to specifications. You will assist with fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes. You will inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. You will read work instructions, drawings, and production documents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Building and assembling custom products using a variety of materials and techniques
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Measuring, cutting, drilling, and fitting components to specifications
• Aiding with fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Reading work instructions, drawings, and production documents as needed

Requirements/Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, carpentry, metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, plumbing, or related trades preferred
• Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred
• Basic measuring and mechanical aptitude required
• Welding or metal fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints preferred but not required
