Production Technician
About the role
Maintain Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and computer hardware, conduct routine and emergency maintenance to ensure high availability, and develop, maintain, and install software upgrades on assigned product lines. Maintain Final Test work instructions in a controlled format and update them as required.
Responsibilities
- Interface with ES&S, Engineering, Service Technicians, and others to replicate and troubleshoot field failures.
- Revise test code and work instructions to screen for failures, and collaborate with Engineering to develop or revise test code and equipment for new and transferred products.
- Assist Quality Engineers in developing test methods.
- Develop ATE solutions as needed, improve testing processes, and help eliminate root causes of product failures by auditing testing and manufacturing processes.
- Test and program computer control boards of units.
- Perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
