Production Technician

About the role

This position is responsible for manual and machine-operated assembly and test of High-Power Diode Laser Products within a family-run, high-tech company that values collaboration, mutual trust, and innovation. Our technologies inspire the development of products currently unimaginable, spanning lasers, machine tools, EUV, and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform OCAP/troubleshooting on assigned station.
• Participate in quality improvement and lean manufacturing/5s activities.
• Meets expected quality standards and guidelines.
• Perform and meet quality and output requirements on multiple processes.
• Reach expected productivity levels in assigned area.
• Work in a cost-effective manner and follow TRUMPF procedures.
• Prioritize tasks according to importance/urgency.
• Work in compliance with document procedures and work safety.
• Use a systematic work approach and understand potential sources of waste.
• Capacity to lead tasks and assignments for group and co-workers.
• Develop new ideas and suggestions for improvements.
• Ability to prioritize workload, eager to learn, and maintain a positive work attitude.

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience as a manufacturing operator.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronic field, or optics assembly is welcomed.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use a computer and standard software packages (MS Office) is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Able to wear a smock covering the entire body while working.

Pay

$26.29 - $28.92 per hour.
