Primary Position Responsibilities
- Work assigned station on the production line following verbal and/or written instructions
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure safety and efficient operation
- Complete required documentation neatly and accurately
- Ensure products are being made according to specifications and report any defects to Production Management
- Wash and sanitize production parts and equipment when assigned
- Hand package, assemble, or seal products as instructed, when necessary
- Clean and sanitize the production area/workstation before and after a production run
- Add/mix and load ingredients for processing into machinery
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Reinforce department and company policies to promote and support a positive work environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible mandatory overtime
Essential Skills and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, and the ability to use a calculator
- Willing and able to immediately adapt to changes in policies and procedures
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to stand/sit for extended periods of time
- An attention to detail and commitment to quality
