Essential Job Functions
- Operate industrial equipment safely and productively.
- Lead/monitor processes and investigate causes of defects.
- Conduct visual inspection of products.
- Review procedures and processes and make adjustments as needed to improve operations.
- Achieve operator certification in all functions worked.
- Train new hire production associates in the manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Achieve regular attendance, report to work on time for all scheduled shifts, and complete all shifts.
- Work overtime as required.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Work with internal and external customers on quality issues.
- Generate and maintain appropriate records as required.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as required by Supervisor or Team Lead.
- Participate and embrace continuous improvement (LEAN) actions.
- Work and participate in a team environment.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of machine operator experience in industrial manufacturing or equivalent required, 3+ preferred.
- Other Requirements: Punctual and consistent attendance required. Able to work beyond required scheduled hours as needed. Works in a safe manner and in compliance with EHS policies and procedures. Be able to work independently or in a team setting. Ability to complete ongoing training and development. Available to work afternoon shift or night shift.
