Production Technician

Essential Job Functions

• Operate industrial equipment safely and productively.
• Lead/monitor processes and investigate causes of defects.
• Conduct visual inspection of products.
• Review procedures and processes and make adjustments as needed to improve operations.
• Achieve operator certification in all functions worked.
• Train new hire production associates in the manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Achieve regular attendance, report to work on time for all scheduled shifts, and complete all shifts.
• Work overtime as required.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Work with internal and external customers on quality issues.
• Generate and maintain appropriate records as required.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as required by Supervisor or Team Lead.
• Participate and embrace continuous improvement (LEAN) actions.
• Work and participate in a team environment.

  Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of machine operator experience in industrial manufacturing or equivalent required, 3+ preferred.
  • Other Requirements: Punctual and consistent attendance required. Able to work beyond required scheduled hours as needed. Works in a safe manner and in compliance with EHS policies and procedures. Be able to work independently or in a team setting. Ability to complete ongoing training and development. Available to work afternoon shift or night shift.
