Production Technician

About the role

Cardinal FG-Durant is seeking Production Technicians to join our team at their world-class glass manufacturing facility in Durant, OK. The facility produces flat glass primarily for residential windows and is a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Glass Handler - packs glass onto racks
• Automation line operator - operates and monitors automation/robot equipment
• Offline cutting system operator - operates an independent auto/cutting system
• Driver - operates powered industrial vehicles safely moving racks of glass
• Closing Inspector - verifies that the glass meets customer specifications
• Closer - closes racks of glass using various packaging materials

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Tape measure reading and basic math skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate on a computer in a Windows-based environment
• Able to safely lift 50 pounds
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Manufacturing experience preferred and training is provided
