Production Technician Associate

At GXO Logistics employees take pride in their work and show dedication to their job. As a Production Technician Associate you will assemble trailer components and sub‑assemblies and perform quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions
• Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments
• Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner
• Work with a variety of materials including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils and abrasives
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality standards
• Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within the department
• Operate Tugger EPJ and install racks using power tools

Requirements

• High degree of technical skills and assembling techniques
• Ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures
• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Experience with power tools
• Warehouse experience
• PPE: composite toe or steel‑toed boots covering the ankle required

Schedule

Training/Orientation: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday‑Friday. Regular shifts: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday‑Friday or 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday‑Friday.
