Production Technician (all shifts)

Responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate machines used in production processes.
  • Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Set up and operate CNC production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
  • Inspect materials and products to strict quality standards and communicate any discrepancies at any point in the production process.
  • Collaborate with engineers and support staff on R&D projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
  • Critical eye for identifying defects.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job.
  • Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time and occasionally perform strenuous physical labor.
  • Ability to work within ITAR-controlled environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years in manufacturing experience.
  • Power tool experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in ISO-controlled or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet software.
