Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate machines used in production processes.
- Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Set up and operate CNC production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
- Inspect materials and products to strict quality standards and communicate any discrepancies at any point in the production process.
- Collaborate with engineers and support staff on R&D projects and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
- Critical eye for identifying defects.
- Commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time and occasionally perform strenuous physical labor.
- Ability to work within ITAR-controlled environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years in manufacturing experience.
- Power tool experience is preferred.
- Experience working in ISO-controlled or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet software.
