Production Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform light secondary deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of parts.
• Perform drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work, and simple machining.
• Run machinery following all processes and procedures, including soap/detergent usage, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, waste cleanup, and more.
• Transfer material and parts from one location to another, including loading parts into machinery properly.
• Work from blueprints and other technical documents.
• Check finished items for quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including removal of any foreign matter.
• Report defective material, any unusual condition, or circumstance to supervisor.
• Follow standard practices and procedures as outlined by company policy.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Strong fine motor skills.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
• Minimum of one year manufacturing experience and/or training.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

Pay

Salary range: $35,000 – $55,000 per year (USD). The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market/business considerations, and geographic location. Incentive: $1,289.
